Description sandeep 2015-10-25 09:15:01 UTC
I'm not sure if this is a regression (from Bug #735343), but Gnome-Wayland 3.18 lock screen on Fedora 23 does not show caps lock indicator. this is a big issue on laptops (like my thinkpad T430s) without a hardware caps lock indicator led.

i moved to gnome-shell/login-screen but this is probably an issue lower down the stack. say in gdk or clutter

You need to be using the keymap from mutter under Wayland. You can't use the one from GDK.
