GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 756536
deleting remote files does not work
Last modified: 2017-08-21 18:47:44 UTC
When trying to delete files on a remote server (tested a sftp:// connection) via "Move to Trash" there will be an error message saying "foo" can't be put in the trash. Do you want to delete it immediately? Choosing "Delete All" or "Delete" does not result in the file/folder to be deleted. The only way that works with 3.18 is to delete files using SHIFT+DEL Not quite sure if it's a nautilus or gvfs issue. Please re-assign accordingly.

Hi Carlos, while it's nice to have a shortcut to delete files directly on remote mounts, there is still the issue that the delete function from the dialog did not work.
