Description Jo 2015-09-03 12:29:00 UTC
please add a attribute dialog to guides, simply by double clicking a guide.

settings.

*5 == add other 5 guides with the same offset (1)
/5 == divide the canvas equal with 4 guides
# precise placement with the help of a number box in px, mm, cm
# remove all guides
# stroke guides

(1)
(for the offset, consider the space from the nearest canvas border to the clicked guide, be it horizontal or vertical)

I agree it would be cool to have more control on existing guide. Another cool settings would be to lock a guide (especially when you set it accurately, you never know if you won't do a drag'n drop by mistake).
Comment 2 Michael Schumacher 2016-03-07 14:12:33 UTC
For a bit of future compatibility, any change done here should also consider guides at arbitrary angles.
Comment 3 Jehan 2016-03-07 14:58:22 UTC
Definitely. Guides at arbitrary angle is something I have been thinking about for a while now. This would be a very useful feature.
