Screenshot of the situation

When I click the "Install" button in the app profile Software installs the app and "Launch/Run" button shows up, but the "Install" button doesn't disappear or change to "Remove/Uninstall". It's very confusing for the user. Is the app installed or not? When you click the "Install" button it says that the installation has failed which makes it even more confusing.

When I leave the app profile and go back, the "Install" button is already changed to "Remove".

Screenshot attached (Czech localization).

I can't reproduce this with 3.14.0 -- what version of gnome-software do you have?
Comment 2 Jiri Eischmann 2014-09-29 10:55:12 UTC
I'm not around my home laptop now, I will check it later today. But I'm pretty sure it was up-to-date Fedora 21 with GNOME 3.14.0 because I installed and updated it yesterday.

If you do manage to reproduce it, can you record a screencast with ctrl-alt-shift-r, please?

This is a screencast of it working correctly for me: https://kalev.fedorapeople.org/gnome-software-install-works-correctly.webm
Comment 4 Jiri Eischmann 2014-09-29 20:45:34 UTC
Eh, I found out how to reproduce it: you need to search the app in the GNOME Shell search, click the result, GNOME Software opens, and when you try to install the app it behaves like this.

The screencast is here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1309518/gnome-software-bug.webm
