Description din 2014-09-12 17:43:20 UTC
In Windows management Option for save/load multiple customizable presets of windows/boxes arrangement positions, work also for single window mode
Comment 1 André Klapper 2014-09-13 11:56:33 UTC
What is your use case for this / why do you want this?
Comment 2 din 2014-09-13 12:47:35 UTC
Useful for multi-user, without need multiple installations or manual switch from different settings/window arrangement
Comment 3 Michael Natterer 2014-09-13 18:19:54 UTC
Don't multiple users belong into multiple user accounts? Even on windows?
I don't think we're going to implement features for sharing user accounts.
Comment 4 Michael Schumacher 2014-09-13 19:44:40 UTC
Forget about the multi-user thing, that's not really relevant.

We have a feature request somewhere about allowing for multiple window layouts to be stored, this one would be a duplicate of that.
Comment 5 din 2014-09-13 20:25:21 UTC
I see. better if close/erase this tiket
Comment 6 Michael Schumacher 2014-11-05 12:02:51 UTC
We haven't found any previous report yet, though. Its summary was similar to "save windows not in session", but I can#t find anything with that (but the summary might have gotten changed).
Comment 7 Michael Schumacher 2016-09-08 09:17:03 UTC
A finally found it - bug 672128. Tempted to make the older one a duplicate of this newer report, though.
