GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 734577
Missing wi-fi icon in system status menu
Last modified: 2017-01-21 02:07:12 UTC
Today when I was attempting to connect to a wi-fi hotspot (ad-hoc mode), a wi-fi icon in the top bar indicated that I was connecting to a network. However the icon in the system menu was a white square. Possibly related: it was stuck in the connecting state for a very long time, and I eventually gave up. gnome-shell 3.12.2 NetworkManager 0.9.10.0
With 3.14.1, the wi-fi icon in both the system status menu and the top bar is a white square, after connecting using the Select Network option in the system status menu.
I can confirm this bug. $ rpm -q control-center control-center-3.16.2-1.fc22.x86_64
