Update to 0.18.1 Fails
Last modified: 2014-07-29 18:16:49 UTC
Hi there, I have Ubuntu 14.04, Shotwell came pre-installed. I noticed that there is a new version of Shotwell on your PPA: https://launchpad.net/~yorba/+archive/ubuntu/ppa So I added it to my sources list and and tried to run an update. This is the error I get in the terminal: (Reading database ... 299095 files and directories currently installed.) Preparing to unpack .../shotwell_0.18.1-1~trusty1_amd64.deb ... Unpacking shotwell (0.18.1-1~trusty1) over (0.18.0-0ubuntu4.1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/shotwell_0.18.1-1~trusty1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/share/shotwell/icons/one-tag.png', which is also in package shotwell-common 0.18.0-0ubuntu4.1 dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe) Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/shotwell_0.18.1-1~trusty1_amd64.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
