GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 73375
fullscreen should remove window-decorations
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
use a window manager with a virtual workspace; run galeon somewhere in the second row of windows; full-screen galeon. Now go to the workspace above galeon - you'll see the window decorations there at the lower edge. Works with Sawfish 1.0.1.20020116 here, gnome 1.4 It would be nice if galeon could remove the window decorations, so galeon stays on the workspace it was full-screened on. Note: this is not the same fullscreen bug as reported by others before: the window decorations are not on the same screen as galeon; fullscreen seems to work at first. So this IS different from #69734: the statusbar is here, the whole screen looks right - just the neighboring virtual workspaces do not.
69734 is a resolved WONTFIX bug about fullscreen not being implemented in a portable way. If you have something to add on this matter please comment there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 69734 ***
