1.segmentation error




>How-To-Repeat:
1.segmentation error
2.program opens okay.
3.opened file for edit. (smb.conf)
4.noticed a previously edited file remnant, smb.conf~
5.opened smb.conf, file displayed correctly.  Went to preferences>>font>>maintained default font type, but changed font size to 18>>applied.
6. crashed with segementation error 1005.

second time, with another file, smb.conf~, error 1111
third time file won't open and error 1145.

This bug is referred to a very old version of gedit.
Please update to gedit 0.9.7
