Possibly also related to bug 72296, which is basically yet another set
of traces from the same behavior.

Also note that bug 73019 has another distinct stack trace resulting
from the same behavior. It's wacky that so many different traces are
occuring with the identical behavior.

Please note this also happens when removing some of the applets (when
the applet does have a 'remove from panel' option ;-)

Posible duplicate: bug 73337

Comment 11 Luis Villa 2002-03-04 15:36:30 UTC
Chris: FWIW, all applets should now have 'remove from panel' menus.
Please file a bug if that is not the case.
Comment 12 Gediminas Paulauskas 2002-03-07 22:36:51 UTC
please try it now (make sure patch for 73224 is in)

if you can't make the panel crash by removing any applets/panels with
applets/empty panels (I can't), you can mark this bug as fixed or
duplicate of 73224
Comment 13 Chris Chabot 2002-03-07 23:16:48 UTC
Confirmed that the patch (applied to gnome panel 1.3.12) fixes this
issue perfectly. Give my thanks to the guy who wrote it! ;-)
