lost foucus problem in icon view mode

I'm using Ubuntu Trusty. I found a bug in nautilus-1:3.10.1-0ubuntu8. I think that: after renaming edit lost focus, it must be done, but it didn't. eg: when you create new folder (currently not yet )then it carried trash, it wasn't affected as it is moved to trash, and it still seems as if it's remained. For test, you can reproduce error with following steps. 1. Click View/Icons(or Press Ctrl+1) 2. Click File/Create New Folder(or Press Shift+Ctrl+N) 3. Click Edit/Move to trash

Hi António Fernandes I see. But I want to fix this error by myself. But I'm afraid where to start fix properily. What do you suggest? Hope to reply? Happy coding Jing W.
That's great to hear! I'm not a developer so I cannot help much. All I know is that the rename widget of icon view is eel-editable-label: https://git.gnome.org/browse/nautilus/tree/eel/eel-editable-label.c When you have a patch, you can attach it to bug 563069 for review. More tips for submitting patches here: https://wiki.gnome.org/GnomeLove/SubmittingPatches You can also find help on our IRC network irc.gnome.org. Channel #gnome-love may be a good starting point, while #gnome-hackers and #nautilus may also be helpful.
