GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 727526
User switch then logout logs out both users
Last modified: 2014-05-16 15:32:58 UTC
I'm on Fedora 20 with rhughes GNOME 3.12 repo. If I switch to a second user from the "Switch user" menu item, then select "Log out" in the second user session, I am logged out from both. However, some "memory" of the original active session is retained, becasue as soon as I log in the screen locks and I am required to unlock it before using the new session.
I have the exact same issue on Arch. I tried wiping all Gnome config... no change. I have these package versions installed: gnome-desktop 1:3.12.2-1 gnome-session 3.12.1-1 gnome-settings-daemon 3.12.2-1 gnome-shell 3.12.1-1 gnome-shell-extensions 3.12.0-1 gnome-terminal 3.12.1-1 libgnome 2.32.1-5 libgnome-data 2.32.1-5 ...
should be fixed in gdm 3.12.2 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 728588 ***
