Description Dominic 2014-02-14 10:20:16 UTC
For the 3.11.x branch, plugins were removed as "It was used by a test plugin we ship ourselves for Geoclue 1.x,
and NetworkManager. Given that NetworkManager doesn't make use
of it anymore, let's remove it.". However, nm-applet (the networkmanager applet for gnome) does still use it. It inserts configuration options to allow bluetooth networking and connecting to GSM. (see https://git.gnome.org/browse/network-manager-applet/tree/src/gnome-bluetooth/bt-widget.c )
Please revert 56a4ad7, 074dbf2 and cd4ca1e.

It's not. This only does something for BlueZ 4.x, and gnome-bluetooth 3.10 and later use BlueZ 5.
