DavMail support
Last modified: 2018-06-17 05:22:51 UTC
---- Reported by eric@yorba.org 2013-03-28 12:18:00 -0700 ---- Original Redmine bug id: 6699 Original URL: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/6699 Searchable id: yorba-bug-6699 Original author: Eric Gregory Original description: A number of users have asked about DavMail on various forums. DavMail provides an Exchange-IMAP bridge that runs on your local machine (it's cross platform.) This would be the simplest path between where we are today and Exchange support, though it's clearly far from a desirable user experience. DavMail home page is here: http://davmail.sourceforge.net/ ---- Additional Comments From geary-maint@gnome.bugs 2013-03-28 14:16:00 -0700 ---- ### History #### #1 Updated by Jim Nelson 8 months ago * **Category** set to _server-support_ --- Bug imported by chaz@yorba.org 2013-11-21 23:11 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 6699 at http://redmine.yorba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6699 Unknown version " in product geary. Setting version to "!unspecified". Unknown milestone "unknown in product geary. Setting to default milestone for this product, "---". Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one. Resolution set on an open status. Dropping resolution
Geary supports Outlook via IMAP (see bug 713997). For Exchange (EAS) support there's bug 714385, Mike, do you think this ticket can be closed?
Yeah, if DavMail exposes an IMAP interface and Geary has trouble with that, we need specific bug reports with the details. I don't have access to an Exchange server let alone a DavMail one, so we're going to have to reply on user feedback for that information.
Now over in GitLab: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/issues/7
