yorba-bug-4605 is bug 713724 I don't see how 713724 would solve this problem. Perhaps the idea is adding the Reply/Reply-to-all buttons to each message header? I'm in favour of it! I never use the Reply buttons in the top header, as they are too far away from the message I'm reading. These buttons always reply to the last message in the conversation (hard to guess for new users), so their functionality is limited. IMO these reply buttons should be moved from the top header to each message header. This is how Gmail works (well, Gmail shows only one Reply button, the preferred one; I would show all available reply buttons).
Probably the more relevant one is Bug 792362, although the buttons might end up moving to the bottom of the window on an GtkActionBar as part of Bug 730682, so depending on that.
