Description Gabor Kelemen 2013-08-29 12:23:33 UTC
In bug #706545 I asked for marking images as non-translatable, so that their hashes would not show up in po files and translators life would be a little easier.

However, d-l fails to generate a pot without the image hashes. I have tried to reproduce, and itstool 1.1 seems to be the culprit - 1.2 does a good job, so please upgrade it to a newer version.

Itstool has been upgraded to version 1.2, mind verifying everything is looking good? if yes, please mark the bug as resolved.
Comment 2 Gabor Kelemen 2013-08-29 14:36:06 UTC
Looks good, thanks!
Comment 3 Gabor Kelemen 2013-12-28 15:18:19 UTC
Reopening. Seems like the image hashes are back.

For example on https://l10n.gnome.org/module/gnome-getting-started-docs/gnome-help/master/hu/images/ the images are back, however there should be none as they are all generated (see bug above).

Could you check the version of itstool and upgrade if < 1.2.0 ?
Comment 4 Andrea Veri 2013-12-28 15:23:04 UTC
Thanks for re-opening, itstool 1.2.0 has been installed. We recently reinstalled the machine and the stock itstool was pulled in again :-)

Thanks for the quick reaction, this did the trick :).

I see the sysadmin component is closed. Where can I file bugs like this one nowadays? I'd like to complain about the version of intltool, which seems to be downgraded (and causing regressions in the stats) as well.
Comment 7 Andrea Veri 2013-12-28 17:35:12 UTC
As per [1], the GNOME Sysadmin Team is currently tracking reports on Request Tracker. The following wiki page has all the details you need in order to contact us: https://wiki.gnome.org/Sysadmin/Contact.

The current package for intltool is intltool_0.50.2-2, which is also the latest available package from Debian sid. (http://packages.debian.org/sid/all/intltool)

Which version should we run?
