GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 706577
gnome-keyring prompts – dialog too narrow
Last modified: 2013-09-22 11:05:55 UTC
In gnome-keyring password prompts (e.g. for unlocking a PGP key), the popup is a little bit too narrow; part of the text and the password box extends outside it. PolicyKit prompts not affected. gnome-shell 3.9.90.r1.g1b03484

It's possible that this is due to the BoxLayout cleanups, if the required Clutter fixes are missing - what version is that?
clutter 1.15.90.r3.gf3f0dff, from the clutter-1.16 branch...
ugh, thats ugly. Better fix it for 3.10...
Fixed in clutter 1.5.92, from what I can see. Relevant commit is 05f56af - box-layout: Fix RTL layout swapping with non-zero container offsets
still seeing this with clutter 1.5.92 and gnome-shell 3.9.92, sadly
As bug 708324, the keyring patch in bug 703833 seems to fix this ...
lets get that in then ! will you ask for a hard code freeze break for it ?
(In reply to comment #8) > will you ask for a hard code freeze break for it ? It's written, I'll send it out when the networkAgent patches have been reviewed.
I'm not planning to review the networkAgent patch for either ClutterTableLayout or ellipsization. Does it have the same "stretched entry" bug?
(In reply to comment #10) > Does it have the same "stretched entry" bug? Yes, see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=703833#c33
