Description Alejandro HC 2013-07-15 13:34:37 UTC
Description of problem:
When navigating with the keyboard in the application menu, their behavior is different from a classic menu, since you can move from one category (A) to another category (B), browsing within applications in category (A) .

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
fedora 19
GNOME 3.8.3

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open application menu (Alt + F1)
2.navigate using the keyboard up "sound and video"
3.enter applications in the category, and navigate to the first application of the list (in my case Audacious)
4.back to the category, Left Arrow (←)
5.is now in the "Favorites", and not "sound and video".

Actual results:
to make the gesture to be returned to the category index (←) returns to the category closest to the height of the currently selected application.

Expected results:
to make the gesture to return to the category index (←), effectively returned to that category and not another.

Additional info:
This would give more order and coherence, since the behavior changes depending on the amount of applications you by category, so you have to guess where the selection end.
