It looks extremely odd to have a preview of a document shifted to the side in the case of single page documents. Even if dual page view is selected, I would special case one-page docs to show in the middle as if dual was unselected.

Or maybe we can just disable dual mode for single page documents

It should be for documents with one or two pages.  Leaving the oldest one as active bug.
