Description Jakub Steiner 2013-05-07 19:54:18 UTC
When I follow the app link from the gnome-shell overview search, Contacts is launched, but the search entry isn't populated.

I noticed the addressbook is set to local and changing to google in the preferences isn't respected, showing up empty. Going back to the prefernces shows local set as default again.

When launched normally through the launcher, google is selected as the main addresbook and contacts do show up.

The address book issues are being tracked by other bug reports.

I can confirm the search behaviour bug on 3.10.1 - if I search for "jimmac" and select the result, Contacts should launch and show me the result. "jimmac" should also be shown in the search bar though, and the contacts list should show any other search results.

Fixed in master.
