Screenshot of appointments extending off screen in GNOME Shell's calendar tool

gnome-shell-3.8.1-2.fc19.x86_64

When one has a full upcoming week of appointments, on some screens it's impossible to see the whole upcoming week. Refer to attached screenshot for details on a 1366x768 laptop screen. Would it be possible to either truncate these or add a slider control on the side for browsing the list?
