If you use any of these brushes with the paintbrush tool set to 1500 or greater, Gimp will freeze for a good 30 seconds followed by a crash. reproducible every time value is 1500 or greater at my end

THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM AND CONSTANTLY CRASHES WHEN USING THESE AND YOU GUYS ARE COMPLETELY IGNORING THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment 2 Chris Mohler 2013-06-12 18:33:22 UTC
Yelling doesn't help. Also, this is not a support forum - you are not owed anything. Remember that the developers are volunteers.

Does the workaround in comment 2 from Bug 701455 work for you (zoom out before using large brush)?
Comment 3 Téo Mazars 2013-06-12 18:34:04 UTC
Moltres_rider,

Nobody is supposed to answer you, there are only volunteers who do it for their pleasure.

So don't expect anything. It's great you are reporting bug, if you want to make sure your problem will be solved, learn C and hack GIMP, or pay someone for. Otherwise be kind and patient.

No, they are ignoring you.

Time is limited, and many people prefer to spend it with users who are genuinely trying to figure out the problem and check out solutions. They do not want to spend it with people who appear to be insulting and have a keyboard where the caps lock key and the exclamation mark key's repeat are stuck.

I definitely see this going towards another "Moltres_rider: Banned" instance (googleable), just like all the other places where this happened to you in the past. It's up to you to prevent that from happening.
