Description tkansgar 2013-03-30 21:01:08 UTC
Hi,

since Gimp version 2.8.0 (or since I have Windows 7) saving another JPEG quality setting (e.g. 100% instead of 90%) as default in the JPEG export dialog is useless. Subsequent displaying of the dialog shows 90% ever. Is this a known bug, or am I doing something wrong? Perhaps the problem is related to Windows 7. What can I do to solve this?

Sincerely
tkansgar

Just to clarify: does the same happen with 2.8.4 as well?
Comment 2 Michael Schumacher 2013-03-30 21:51:38 UTC
This is most likely a duplicate of bug #675981.
Comment 3 tkansgar 2013-03-31 16:08:50 UTC
That was it. Now with Version 2.8.4 it's working again.

I searched for such cases hear before reporting, but didn't find any. Perhaps my search patterns weren't suitable.

I've just subscribed myself at sourceforge to get an email, when new Gimp Versions are available in future.

Many Thanks for your response!
