3.6 Empathy contact list

BY default, contact list entries are quite large and there doesn't seem to be a way to make them any smaller.

A "small avatar" option would be a good step in the right direction.
Comment 2 Antonio Ospite 2013-11-12 09:13:07 UTC
I too think the contact list entries are too big, I am using empathy 3.8.4
Comment 3 karatedebili 2014-04-16 08:37:05 UTC
the current contactlist window wastes too much space… it works in some situations but a tiny/minimalist list which could sit in the corner of my screen all the time, preferably without a titlebar and set-status bar would work better imho.

one idea would be to have the shell provide a small black chat list bubble, either shortcut driven pop-up, or a separate floating one, filled with empathy contacts as an alternative tot the big avatar empathy chat list.

on the other hand...would it be possible for empathy to support Adium contactlist themes? it already supports chat-windw Adium themes...
