Description James 2013-01-21 11:59:52 UTC
Similar to: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=690147 (which might be video card related) I believe this bug is a software problem.

After upgrading from Fedora 17 -> 18, a black background is seen in the overview mode of the shell. This did not occur on Gnome 3.4

It appears this might be related to nautilus. Using gnome-tweak-tool to turn off "Have file manager handle the desktop", and then changing the background, causes it to now display normally.

I have attached a screencast (bad audio-mute it) demonstrating the problem.

Hope this explains well.

Thanks,
James
