Description bwatkins 2013-01-19 16:47:57 UTC
Running fedora 18 with gnome 3.6. The "lock screen after" option in the power manager settings does nothing. Regardless of how long its set to it locks the screen immediately after the screen shuts off (to easily reproduce set turn screen off time to 1 minute, and set "lock screen after" to one hour. After 1 minute the screen turns off as expected, but when you wake it up the screen is already locked). This worked fine in gnome 3.4

gnome-power-manager is not involved in this.
Comment 2 Giovanni Campagna 2013-01-20 02:31:47 UTC
And this was fixed in master but not 3.6. I guess we need to backport d525d02 (and 0e9ddd3 / 9281129).

Giovanni, you did commit d525d02 to 3.6 as I asked you to do so. But maybe the two others are needed too indeed.
