illustration

Some kind of graphical glitz it seems. Seen it a couple of times. No idea what's going on specifically, but happens when I chat mostly.

Sorry for the crude illustration, I was unable to take a screenshot.

What's your GPU and driver?
Comment 2 Andreas Nilsson 2013-01-16 18:52:00 UTC
GPU: Intel® Ivybridge Mobile i915
How do I find the driver info?
Comment 3 Milan Bouchet-Valat 2013-01-16 19:24:49 UTC
On Fedora, one of the ways is:
yum info xorg-x11-drv-intel
Comment 4 Milan Bouchet-Valat 2013-01-16 19:26:16 UTC
...anyway I guess I reacted too quickly to the attachment, and missed the "I was unable to take a screenshot" part. If that's not a screenshot, then the bug is probably not a driver bug, and my question is... pointless.

Maybe the same issue

I can reproduce this with gnome-shell-3.6.2-6.fc18.x86_64 as follows:

1. insert a removable media
2. wait for the notification that asks you what you want to do
3. go to the overview
4. close the notification while you are in the overview

I tested the same steps with gnome-shell from master, and I couldn't reproduce it there.

Yep, that's the one!

(my driver is xorg-x11-drv-intel btw)
