GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 691314
entering numbers into tools such as 'scale' 'rotate' 'shear' etc don't work
Last modified: 2013-01-07 23:41:12 UTC
when I use the scale tool or any tool that you an input numbers, manually typing in numbers then hitting 'scale' (or whatever tool) DOES NOT work! the layer is NOT scaled rotated, sheared, transformed, etc until I either hit the up or down arrows on the right edge of the value boxes, then the the layer is scaled inaccurately like when I set width to 256px and height to 120px the result is portrait instead of landscape... (this is kinda two bug in one)
Thank you for reporting this. How exactly do you call the transform tools - via the toolbox or via a keyboard shortcut? What happens if you press the TAB or ENTER key right from the number fields? Can this be seen as a duplicate of bug #677765 or bug #684672? Your calm and factual answer within the next 6 weeks is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
