Description Tuxo Holic 2012-12-06 15:18:26 UTC
I very much like EOG and often use it.
EOG currently does file delete actions only by moving the file to its own trash folder. In many cases it would be very useful when pressing shift+del key the file gets permanently deleted, as nautilus and other apps allow you to do.
A dialog box asking before deletion makes sure nobody does it unintended, and this box can deactivated for a whole session or permanently.

Please let me know what you think about it and when it will evt. be implemented. Thx.

That would be bug 563538. Although, I am not exactly sure anymore, why it hasn't been implemented in the last four years, especially as we already do a delete if no trash is available. :/
