Description David King 2012-12-02 10:24:18 UTC
easytag-list is a new list, and the archives were migrated over from a SourceForge mailing list (see bug 689334). I sent an email to the list, which was a reply to:

https://mail.gnome.org/archives/easytag-list/2012-November/msg00005.html

and which I then received from easytag-list. However, I cannot see that email in the archive, in the 2012-November section:

https://mail.gnome.org/archives/easytag-list/2012-November/thread.html
Comment 1 David King 2012-12-02 23:19:35 UTC
All emails sent to the new easytag-list seem to be missing from the archive, as two more were sent today (subject ‘VQF’ and ‘Re: VQF’) and are not in the archive.

It should be fixed now, mind sending those mails again? for some reason mhonarc wasn't generating the archives correctly. Please close the bug once verified.
Comment 3 David King 2012-12-03 11:14:53 UTC
I sent the missing emails to the list again, and they were archived correctly, thank you! Can you add everyone who was in the subscriber list before you started making changes back to the "new" list? Thanks again.
Comment 4 Andrea Veri 2012-12-03 11:44:27 UTC
There were one user subscribed, added his email again.

Hmm, I mass-subscribed about 200 users when I moved them over from the old SourceForge mailing list. Is there any way to get that list back, as I have already removed the SourceForge list and I am not sure if I can get the subscriber list again.

No, I can't get the list back, do you still have the file with all the e-mails locally?

Phew, I managed to re-enable the mailing list on SourceForge and fetch the list, which I have now saved locally! I added the old members to the new list.
Comment 8 Andrea Veri 2012-12-03 12:20:03 UTC
whew, I just found out that mailman doesn't handle a full list of members on one single page (in the admin menu) but it divides users by the first letter of their names. (that's why I saw just one user)

Glad we worked this out, have an awesome day!
