Description Adam Williamson 2012-10-18 00:32:30 UTC
mclasen asked me to file this bug though I really don't have any useful debugging info. I just did four installs of Fedora 18 Beta TC4 (one of our test builds, doesn't really matter - it has GNOME 3.6) in succession, on the fourth one, when I booted and went into the overview, the icons in the Dash were tiny - about the size of icons on the panel. The whole Dash was scaled to this size (it wasn't normal size with tiny icons floating about in it). This happened no matter how many times I went in and out of the overview, but after a reboot, it was gone. It seems to be an intermittent issue no-one's tracked down yet, apparently. If it happens again I'll see if I can find any data.

A scroll-able dash?

It’s going to be impossible to investigate without more info or a way to reliably reproduce. Also this was ages ago and many versions have been released since, the issue is likely to be gone now.

I’m closing this report, but feel free to reopen if you can find a way to reproduce it with recent versions.
