with Gnome classic

When I click on: places-> (any place)
An "indicator" on the window list panel with caption "Opening xxxx" is showed.
This is clear and wanted.
But this "indicator" stays a long on the window list after nautilus is opened. Also, the cursor icon is the "waiting" one, indicating to the user (actually me...) that I have to wait...
