GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 664147
Busy cursor when opening nautilus from shell
Last modified: 2012-09-28 21:32:38 UTC
When I open nautilus via gnome-shell the cursor gets busy for several seconds. This does not happen when opening nautilus from terminal or a shortcut placed on the desktop. My system is Ubuntu 11.10 amd64 using gnome session.
I have the exact same problem!!! It is not very very imporant but it's quite annoying .

$ git grep startup_complete $ Why doesn't nautilus use gdk_notify_startup_complete()?
Additionsal requirements for this bug to occur: On Ubuntu 12.10 alpha 3 this bug only appeared when automatic logon was activated. When entering a passwort bevore loon the bug did not appear. Probably has something to to with the keyring?

I now pushed a fix for this to git master.
