Description Arnaud B. 2012-08-17 00:45:11 UTC
« Application menus provide access to actions and options that are relevant to the application as a whole » ( https://live.gnome.org/Design/HIG/ApplicationMenus ), quite confusing so to have an "Enter Location" item that only acts on the current window. Other problem: when you’ve clicked on "Enter Location" one time, you have –to return to the Path Bar– to clic another time "Enter Location", erf.

It is really for me an action that should be by window, a button just before the Path Bar maybe (because of its changing size). It should look great if it was the "first button" of the Path Bar.

As the behaviour of the App’Menu have to be very consistent between apps to provide a good feeling, I think this is a quite important bug.
