GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 680943
Allow gnome-control-center (System Settings) window to be maximized
Last modified: 2012-08-12 10:44:41 UTC
Please allow the gnome-control-center (System Settings) window to be maximized, unless this was specifically done for Unity in Ubuntu 12.04.
The fact that it's not resizable is not a bug. If you have problems with particular panels (e.g. data not shown or other issues), please elaborate which panel you exactly have a problem with (for example bug 649242 is still unfixed, or bug 675505).
My issue seems to be more in line with bug 331835 mentioned in bug 675505. When other settings icons are added to the System Settings window, such as MyUnity, the window will then have a scroll bar. Should it not then be resizable and or maximizable also?
The window should automatically find the right size. Plus by default we do not allow other parties to add other icons, so if other parties feel like patching they might also want to take care of the fallout.

Seems that you didn't bother testing it. Test it and report a bug _after_ testing it.
