Description schmatzler 2012-07-13 01:49:50 UTC
I tried adding the feed of a show I am paying for.

It is password protected and according to Bug #548044 Banshee should ask for my username and password when I add it.

But it doesn't. After adding the feed it just prints out a "Legitimation error".

The feed url is this:

http://couch.fernsehkritik.tv/feed/

I tried adding it like "http://username:password@fernsehkritik.tv/feed/" but this doesn't work either.

Attaching a log is useless in this case, because its not showing any errors.

Password protected podcasts are currently not supported, however the feature is in development. It has been stuck on finding a cross platform way to store the passwords securely. Hopefully we can manage to get this through review soon.
