Description Adam Klobukowski 2012-04-23 15:08:01 UTC
Rygel should return media list to client in a sorted (preferably: the samy way nautilus sorts that directory) way.
Comment 1 Jens Georg 2012-04-23 18:14:06 UTC
Sorting is 2/3 the client's work; that is a) requesting the proper sort order from the server (which most clients fail to do) and b) present it to the user which may or may not have anything to do with the order the server delivers the data.

What particular sort order are you experiencing?
Comment 2 Adam Klobukowski 2012-04-23 18:47:51 UTC
I have a client that does not do sorting on its own (SONY KDL-26EX320). Is I wrot, imo, the best way is to sort files the way nautilus is set up to sort them. If thats not possible - alphabetically.
Comment 3 Jens Georg 2012-04-23 18:53:44 UTC
Do you get several slices that itself are sorted alphabetically?
Comment 4 Adam Klobukowski 2012-04-23 18:55:35 UTC
It seems it looks that way.
Comment 5 Jens Georg 2012-04-26 17:55:30 UTC
That's the same issue as 661482 then.
