GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 674230
Ability to add an emblem to file from within eog
Last modified: 2012-04-17 16:47:54 UTC
Created attachment 212174 [details] mockup It would be incredibly useful if it is possible to add the star emblem (or other types) to files from within eog. This will help if someone is reviewing lots of images and want to pick a few quickly for any purpose. Later on, one can sort files by emblem in Nautilus. I imagine an optional toolbar button that does this in one click and is linked to a keyboard shortcut. This will be an enormous productivity boost for people dealing with hundreds or thousands of images.

As I understand it, EOG is not a gallery maintainance software... > Later on, one can sort files by emblem in Nautilus. No, as Nautilus does not support emblems anymore since July 2010.

Exactly that's the problem with this. This can only become a solution (at first) limited to eog. --- Thanks for the bug report.
