Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-04-05 02:30:36 UTC
Visit pitivi.org and the embedded video on the main page will start playing, with some sort of embedded version of Totem. Other browsers (Firefox, Chromium) wait until the user clicks the Play button (and avoid wasting bandwidth or taking the user by surprise).

This might have something to do with the fact that it is some sort of "object" that points to an iframe and that it seems totem gets used to play the video.

Bug #673544 might also be caused by this?

Works fine for me. Do you have youtube html5 disabled? Can you provide more information regarding the totem plugin you have? I bet this is a bug in totem's plugin.
Comment 2 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-04-09 15:36:44 UTC
Yes, I did not enable youtube.com/html5, yet I do not have flashplayer installed either...
Comment 3 Gustavo Noronha (kov) 2012-04-10 00:20:10 UTC
But you do have the totem plugin! =)
