GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 670867
Link suggestions - show the ID (address) of the contacts that are being suggested
Last modified: 2017-12-28 20:47:37 UTC
Created attachment 208475 [details] screenshot See attached screenshot. - When suggesting to link TP contacts, we should display at least the contact ID (bob@jabber.org). That's the unique identifier of the contact and the best way to make sure we are merging the right contacts together. - Phrasing of the first suggesting box looks weird. I certainly like Jabber but... :)

The current UI makes me very umconfortable as I can't know for sure the contact it's referring to.
I agree that we should show the ID for the contacts that are being suggested. The current mockups have a separate line for this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/contacts/png/selection.png
This is related to bug 727741 and bug 696384. I'm going to make it a duplicate of the latter since I'd like to keep the discussion in one bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 696384 ***
