GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 668395
track titles of first CD (volume) used for further volumes of the same album
Last modified: 2013-09-27 22:07:10 UTC
When trying to rip an audio CD, rhythmbox gets the track-titles wrong if it's the 2nd CD of a multi-CD album. Track-count is correct, but it shows the track-titles of the 1st CD instead of the 2nd one. eg. "Best of Destruction" has CD 1 and CD 2: http://musicbrainz.org/release/03780fcd-1e67-4579-ae4b-e049801c2f22 on CD 2 it shows: 1 Intro 2 Total Desaster 3 Mad Butcher 4 Devil's Soldiers 5 Invincible Force 6 Death Trap 7 The Ritual 8 Tormentor 9 Black Death 10 Beyond Eternity 11 Release From Agony 12 Sign of Fear but it should show: 1 Confound Games 2 United by Hatred 3 Upcoming Devastation 4 Confused Mind 5 Curse the Gods (live) 6 Unconscious Ruins (live) 7 Thrash Attack (live) 8 Reject Emotions (live) 9 Mad Butcher (live) 10 Pink Panther / Life Without Sense (live) 11 In the Mood / Release From Agony (live) 12 Bestial Invasion (live) I am experiencing this bug on rhythmbox 0.13.3 and 2.95. reported it as well on https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395655
Now that #652972 is fixed in sound-juicer, this can easily be fixed in rhythmbox
Created attachment 205816 [details] [review] patch against git master syncing libjuicer with s-j master (only compile tested)
I just pushed something equivalent as commit 8f84030. I had some trouble with libmusicbrainz4, but if it solves this problem in sound-juicer that's good enough for me.
