mostly i have seen that an account get offline but empathy does not remove it form the contact list when we select the offline accounts options in the view menu. see the video.i daily see this behaviour
using ubuntu 11.10
empathy 3.3.3
somebody told me  its your favt contact but no its not a favt contact

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system.
Could you please add a comment in bug 661556 by saying if that specific contact is a meta-contact, or not? See comments 1 and 3 there. Thanks!
