Description Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2011-12-07 20:32:04 UTC
The bookmarks and bookmark topics shown on a toolbar do not show up. Only a favicon (if any) is displayed, followed by an ellipsis (...). This makes the bookmarks completely unusable. Screenshot attached.

The bookmarks bar is gone in master, but this should probably be fixed in 3.2.x. GTK+ bug perhaps?
Comment 3 Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2011-12-14 18:52:08 UTC
I'm on GTK+ 3.2.2 currently.

Another screenshot showing toolbar issues

The situation has slightly improved (not sure what updates caused this), but now I see strange clipping effects and incorrect vertical spacing (the "eest" in the screenshot comes from "most visited", a two word label wrapped over two lines it seems). It doesn't matter if I remove the location enty from the toolbar (to check for widget expanding issues). The screenshot is made with Ephy 3.2.1 with Gtk+ 3.2.3.

We do not have bookmarks on toolbar now.

This is a duplicate of bug 654129, by the way (which has also been marked obsolete).
