From where did you download the exe ? What's the version ?

You can find user guide online http://library.gnome.org/users/evolution/

Please install windows version from below url
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win32:/EXPERIMENTAL/openSUSE_Factory/noarch/

We worked around this in version 3.2.1.
