Description JP LeBreton 2011-10-15 21:13:49 UTC
I have /desktop/gnome/interface/gtk_key_theme set to Emacs, which in many GTK applications provides Emacs-style keyboard shortcuts (CTRL-B to cursor forward, CTRL-A to jump to start of line, etc). Empathy does not seem to respect this setting. It's quite useful for speedy editing in the GTK applications that do support it.

I have no idea how this works but would be happy to include a clean patch providing this feature.
