Description Allan Day 2011-08-29 11:30:30 UTC
Some options have recently been removed from the power panel. This means that it can be very short if there is no status information present. A screenshot is attached.

To avoid this, additional vertical padding could be added when there is no status information present. See http://live.gnome.org/Design/SystemSettings/Power#Concepts for a mockup

We already have bug 657467 about implementing the new mockups.

I was hoping this could be implemented ahead of the redesign. It would be a shame to let 3.2 go out in this state.

Then leaving open for Richard to look at.

Bug 658068 is a more succinct description of the issue. Let's use that one.
