GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 65460
Galeon very often crashes when quiting
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Galeon 1.0 very often crashes when quiting. I don't need to do anything special to make this happen: I just quit the browser. It crashes with a segmentation fault - stack trace is included in this report. I didn't have this problem with 0.12.8 built against Mozilla 0.9.5. I haven't changed my build setup at all between these versions. Mozilla 0.9.6 itself works just fine and does not crash when quiting. Galeon 1.0 also otherwise works just fine but does very often crash when quiting. Fortunately it does not leave the $HOME/.galeon/session_crashed.xml file behind so it won't ask if I'd like to continue browsing where I left off. However, it still is a bug and seems strange. The stack trace follows (I don't know if this helps at all..): Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
