i am opening this bug because this particular crash is becoming predominant
in all the crash reports, and i dont want to flood an innocent reporter
with duplicates

i am reproducing it with 0.9.3 everytime but i havent yet build a debug
mozilla cvs to try and track it down

which is not good

Well, it'a an hacky fix but it's a fix. If someone want to debug it in
mozilla is welcome.

Ok, reopening because the picky yaneti wants us to debug it in the
right place :)
The bug is worked around in cvs anyway.

Someone should manage to try to fix it or to report it to
bugzilla.mozilla.org (probably with a testcase)

I changed the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL export in the `galeon` script to 2.2.15
instead of 2.2.5 (I'm running Red Hat 7.1) and it stops segfaulting
for me now. (I'm running the latest CVS as of 18:15 PST, 2001-11-27).

quick addition: it doesn't always work... it still segfaults sometimes
(not every single time though which is a plus i guess).  if i startup
galeon and then go File->Quit, then it's fine.  if i startup galeon
and then hit Ctrl-Q then it segfaults.

The problem appears to be with the input focus that is owned by the 
client area of the Galeon window.
If the input focus is at somewhere else, then there is not problem
at all.
And the problem occurs (as noted) only when doing Ctrl-Q.
Could the code for Ctrl-Q be something like this:

   Ctrl-Q:
      Send the focus away from the client area of galeon
      Close application
