Description Eugene 2011-07-03 05:11:52 UTC
Similar to bug #646900, but this one is about Compact View.

Suppose the total width of first two columns in Compact View exceeds the width of the window. When I try to do something with a file in the second column (select or right-click to open the context menu to choose "Rename" there), nautilus scrolls the window horizontally, so that a longer part of the file name is visible (it is good). But, this seems to cause the bug - I can't rename the file. After I maximize the window so that columns fit in it, I can rename the file.
