GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 653807
Wrong layout printing multiple pages per sheet
Last modified: 2012-04-20 23:49:56 UTC
In certain cases, when multiple pages per sheet are printed, the printer output doesn't match the layout preview (*). For example, if 2 pages per sheet with portrait orientation is selected, the layout preview shows the sheet with landscape orientation (which BTW I find weird) and the pages placed from left to right. However, the printer outputs the sheet in portrait orientation with the pages from top to bottom. The pages also get printed upside down. All of this is also applicable to the print preview, so it has nothing to do with CUPS or the printer driver. (*) By "layout preview" I mean this drawing in the lower half of the "Page Setup" tab of the print dialog which shows the layout of the pages inside the sheet.
Sorry, I forgot to say I tested it from a Fedora 15 live CD (Evince 3.0.0. with poppler 0.16.5), but happens at least from Fedora 11 (Evince 2.26.2 with poppler 0.10.7).
